What’s New at The Breastfeeding Center of Ann Arbor?

We have our first breastmilk donation!

We have been contacted by many mothers about donating milk but now we actually have some frozen breastmilk in the freezer! When we collect enough milk to fill a shipping container we will package it up and send it to Bronson Hospital to be processed and dispersed. It feels good to be part of helping babies stay healthy! If you are interested in donating milk, give us a call! We will provide containers to pump into and a convenient drop off point for milk and pick up point for supplies.

Our retail store is open!

Finally, Monday April 7th, our retail store opened it’s doors. We have had many mothers find well-fitting, comfy nursing bras. Our extensive line of Medela products is also popular. We will be getting in new nursing pillows and breastfeeding books later this month. Who knows what we will get next? But, as usual, you can be assured that only the finest quality nursing products will stocked in our store. We also believe more in supporting breastfeeding then making a profit, so many of our items are priced lower then you will find elsewhere.

We have also gotten our cash register working well and can accept Visa and Master Charge. Our staff is trained to help you pick out just what’s right for you.

Friday Breastfeeding Support Groups have started!

Join us on Fridays from 10 am to 11:30 for a free, drop in support group. We do have a pre-selected topic each week. However, what is most important, is what’s on your mind. Please come with your questions.
