We are in the process of designing a one-of-a kind birth bag full of essentials for birth doulas. In addition to a carefully chosen, sturdy and attractive carrying bag, your kit contains the following items:

  • Penny Simkin & Ruth Ancheta’s Labor Progress Handbook, 4th Edition
  • Dr. Jack Newman’s The Ultimate Breastfeeding Books of Answers
  • a birth ball, pump, washable cotton cover, and handy carrying strap
  • a high-quality, traditional Mexican rebozo
  • rice sock with lavendar
  • massage lotion, scented (your choice of 3 scents) and unscented
  • one bottle of pure essential oil of lavendar
  • a small stainless steel bowl for water compresses
  • 10 packets of Emergen-C instant electrolyte-balancing powder (just add water!)
  • 10 honey sticks
