What are Nursing Contact Hours or CEUs?
The Center offers a variety of continuing education opportunities for doulas and other professionals who work with pregnant, birthing, and newly postpartum women and their families. Sign up for our newsletter (see the Get-Acquainted Packet on the sidebar) and you will be assured of being kept up to date on all opportunities.
For readers unfamiliar with continuing education contact hours, they are a requirement for certified doulas and many other licensed professionals to keep their credentials active. The DONA-certified doula is required to complete 16 hours of continuing education during every three-year re-certification period.
Currently, our Building Your Birth-Related Business class is approved for 6.5 DONA CEUs.
