Yuna Saxman with her mom Ayase. This photo arrived with the following note from her dad, Paul. “. . . one of our favorite pictures of Yuna . . . She likely couldn’t have had a natural birth without the great birthing class that we took at the center. My wife is enjoying the breastfeeding resources that the center offers as well… thanks for everything!”
On August 29th, 2009, Madelon Jane Van Riper and Sophia Grace Van Riper arrived via cesarean section at Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital. Parents Shelley and Craig took prenatal classes at the Center.
Noa Christian Meilgaard was born on 6/11/09, 10:40pm, at UM hospital. Noa’s mom and dad, Lani and Justin, enjoyed a breastfeeding and vaccine class at the Center. This picture is titled “Happy Family.”
Vivian Faith Raupp was born 6/19/2009. Healthy and happy! 8 lbs even. Vivian with her mom, Stephanie. Stephanie shared the following about her birth and her experience at the Center: “I got a LOT out of both our childbirth prep class and my breastfeeding basics class. I have already sent several expectant friends to the center for classes too and everyone has repeatedly thanked me for the recommendation. You provide a great service. I successfully had a natural childbirth at UM hospital after 26 hours of active labor. I had a wonderful doula and my husband as my support team. . . . and breastfeeding has gone well.”
