Provided by DONA International. What’s involved with professional certification for doulas? As an approved DONA doula trainer, our programs fulfill DONA training requirements. The certification process itself is handled by DONA directly. During the doula training weekends, we will cover the certification process, step by step and ensure that all of your questions are answered. You do NOT need to purchase the certification packets or DONA membership until after your doula training weekend.

Michigan Doula Connection

We are proud to announce a community partnership with Michigan Doula Connection (MDC), a nonprofit online community of volunteer birth and postpartum doulas who provide free services to low-income childbearing families throughout the state. MDC provides a venue for newly-trained doulas to complete the experiential component of professional certification requirements.
