A comprehensive breastfeeding center to meet all of your breastfeeding needs. Barbara Robertson is a lactation consultant who helps breastfeeding mothers overcome challenges through one-on-one sessions on site or in their homes. Medela pumps and accessories for sale, as well as a wide range of nursing bras to fit women of all sizes and expert fitters to assist you. A free drop in group for breastfeeding moms and their babies–The Breastfeeding Cafe–meets every Friday from 10 — 11:30am.

Lactation consultants provide expectant mothers with basic breastfeeding information before the baby is born. After the birth, the consultants provide one-to-one instruction. And once mother and baby go home, the consultants are available by phone to answer questions and provide support. This program is open to all mothers interested in breastfeeding, whether or not they delivered their babies at Providence.

WomanSafeHealth is a breastfeeding-friendly medical practice. We offer medical and social support for a number of breastfeeding concerns including latch/positioning isues, thrush, mastitis, plugged ducts, breast masses, breast pain, low milk volume, and skin changes. We also offer guidance for tandem nursing, breastfeeding in pregnancy, nighttime parenting and weaning.
